The Mary Elizabeth Keller Scholarship Fund

Mary Elizabeth Keller, a local retired teacher, funded the scholarship which has been named in her honor and is administered by LORCORTA.  This scholarship is available to any resident of Lorain County who is pursuing a career in education with preference given to those in their junior or senior year of college.

Congratulations to the 2013 winners (left to right): Matthew Gerhadinger, an Oberlin High School graduate who attends Kent State University, Haile Mihalcik, an Amherst Steele High School graduate who attends The Ohio State University, Bridget Lyons, an Avon Lake High School graduate who attends the University of Mount Union in Alliance, and Zachary Zvosecz, an St. Ignatius High School graduate who attends Xavier University in Cincinnati.
